About the Role:

The Adobe Lightroom team, part of Adobe’s Digital Imaging group, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Engineer II. In this role, you will focus on testing and improving the Lightroom Android application, ensuring it delivers exceptional performance, stability, and user experience to photographers around the world.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and global teams to define release scope and roadmap.
  • Conduct functional and non-functional testing of new features under development.
  • Own features end-to-end from requirements gathering to testing and release.
  • Enhance test automation coverage and contribute to the test automation framework.
  • Ensure the Lightroom Android app is stable, crash-free, and optimized for high performance.
  • Work in a fast-paced agile environment with scrum methodologies.
  • Engage with customers, identify issues, and refine workflows based on feedback.

Requirements:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of software testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Android app development and testing.
  • Ability to create detailed test plans for end-to-end workflows.
  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Android testing frameworks (Espresso, Robotium, UI Automator).
  • Familiarity with tools like Git, Jenkins, JUnit, Gradle, and Android Studio.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Exposure to bug reporting and management tools like JIRA.
